UEFA CL: referee for Real vs Arsenal clash revealed!

The return clash between Real Madrid and Arsenal, scheduled for this Wednesday at 7 PM GMT at the Santiago Bernabéu, promises to be electrifying. Trailing 3-0 after a heavy defeat at the Emirates, the Madrilenians will fight for their Champions League survival against determined Gunners who are under the spotlight.

To oversee this high-tension encounter, UEFA has appointed the experienced French referee François Letexier.

The man in black, accustomed to major European fixtures, is well aware of the charged atmosphere at the White House. An extra layer of pressure is added, especially as Real is up against the wall.

Letexier's appointment, a good omen for Los Blancos?

Letexier, who officiated the Euro final between Spain and England last summer, enjoys the full confidence of the European body.

This will be the fifth time he officiates a Real C1 match. Record: three wins, one draw, and only one defeat — against Liverpool this season.

He was also in charge during the epic 3-3 against Manchester City, as well as the victories over Napoli (4-2) and Chelsea (2-0). A good omen for Los Blancos?

In any case, Letexier's officiating will be closely watched in this high-stakes match.
