Arriving in January on loan, Umar Sadiq quickly won over Mestalla. The Nigerian forward, lacking game time at Real Sociedad, managed to establish himself in Carlos Corberán's system. He scored 6 goals in 15 appearances, including 5 in the Spanish first division.

A few weeks ago, Umar Sadiq won the goal of the month award for March in La Liga. The Nigerian has found his form in Valencia's colors. Miguel Ángel Corona, Valencia's sporting director, did not hide his satisfaction with the 28-year-old's contribution. From his arrival, the Real Sociedad striker already had Miguel's trust for motivation and support. As for a possible contract extension, the 44-year-old remains vague.

"We first want to confirm our objective. That's the most important thing. We are very satisfied with Sadiq. His numbers speak for themselves. He has contributed a lot, and not just with his goals, which are statistics, but also with all the work he brings to the team, as of course all his teammates do. And as Carlos rightly points out, they manage as a group to raise the level of each player for the good of the team," Corona said.

At this pace, Umar Sadiq has every chance of seeing his adventure at Mestalla extended this summer. The Nigerian forward at Valencia, on loan from Real Sociedad, seems to have brilliantly met the expectations placed upon him since his arrival last January.
