Victor Osimhen expected in Naples

As his loan spell at Galatasaray comes to an end on June 30, Victor Osimhen is set to return to Naples for preseason training on July 17, though he does not feature in Antonio Conte’s plans.

The Nigerian, still under contract with Napoli until 2026, finds himself at the center of a tug-of-war between Galatasaray, Al Hilal, and Juventus. The Saudis are offering an eye-watering €35 million per year—a figure the Turkish side can only hope to match with sponsorship deals pushing their bid to €15–20 million annually. The release clause for foreign clubs is set at €75 million until mid-July. After that, Juventus hopes to negotiate directly.

Napoli is already preparing for life after Osimhen: Lorenzo Lucca (Udinese), who netted 12 goals in Serie A, is being targeted as Romelu Lukaku’s backup. The club is waiting for the funds from Osimhen’s transfer to finalize the deal.
