Olympique Lyonnais will not retain Warmed Omari. Loaned by Rennes last summer with an option to buy, the 24-year-old defender will not be kept by the Rhone club, according to Ouest-France.

His stint at Lyon did not leave a lasting impression. Seldom used, he only played in four matches for a total of 277 minutes. This limited playing time was not enough to convince Lyon's management to integrate him permanently into the squad.

Under contract with Stade Rennais until 2027, Omari is expected to return to Brittany at the end of the season. But will he stay? That remains uncertain. The Breton club might consider a sale in the next transfer window if an enticing offer comes along.
