Wayne Rooney Admits Mohamed Salah is the Best Player in the World

Former Manchester United icon Wayne Rooney's made unexpected admission naming Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah as the best player in the world right now, despite his well known reluctance to praise his former club’s fierce rivals.

Speaking to Ben Black on TikTok, Rooney admitted that selecting Salah was difficult for him but unavoidable.

“It kills me and I hate to say it but I've to choose Mohamed Salah as the best player in the world right now” he said.

Salah’s Stunning Season

The Egyptian forward's been in sensational form scoring 32 goal and providing 22 assist in 42 appearances across all competitions this season. His contributions have been instrumental in Liverpool’s dominance as they currently lead the PL table with 70 point.

With the reds inching closer to another league title Salah’s performances continue to silence doubters & earn admiration even from his fiercest rivals.
