West African Football Union (Zone B): 2026 schedule revealed with 5 tournaments on the calendar

The West African Football Union (WAFU Zone B) announced its 2026 competition schedule on May 26. Five tournaments, ranging from the U-17 to U-20 age categories, are set to take place across Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Nigeria.

The action kicks off in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, from July 26 to August 9 with the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers for men.
Burkina Faso will host two tournaments, while the fifth competition is scheduled for Nigeria.

The full 2026 WAFU Zone B competitions calendar

1. U-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers (men): July 26 to August 9, 2026, in Côte d'Ivoire, featuring 7 national teams.

2. CAF Women's Champions League (CAF OWCL): August 23 to September 5, 2026, in Burkina Faso, with 7 clubs competing.

3. West African U-17 Girls’ Championship: September 15 to 27, 2026, in Côte d'Ivoire, bringing together 7 national teams.

4. U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers (men): November 16 to 29, 2026, in Burkina Faso, with 7 national teams in action.

5. African Schools U-15 Championship: December 6 to 9, 2026, in Nigeria, featuring 14 teams vying for the trophy.
