Why did Ilan Kebbal refuse Atlético Madrid?

Going to tell your friends 'I play for Atlético' is nice. But it was Atlético playing in the Champions League final. At 18, I had never left Marseille on my own... Bordeaux, I didn't hesitate. I promised Battiston. I don't regret it, even if it didn't lead to a pro contract.

Ultimately, Bordeaux was Kebbal's choice, where he was trained before starting his professional career. Today, Kebbal plays for Paris FC, where he is under contract until 2028.
