Will Moussa Sylla leave Schalke 04?

Despite an exceptional season with Schalke 04, Moussa Sylla doesn't seem ready to pack his bags. The Malian forward, who scored 14 goals in 20 Bundesliga 2 matches, remains focused on his club and dismisses any idea of leaving.

When questioned by journalist Florian Plettenberg, Sylla was clear:

“I have a contract with Schalke. I need to keep working hard with the team and the club. Schalke is a big club and I have to help them. Will I stay beyond the summer? Absolutely. I have a big contract. I am happy here.”

A straightforward response, much like his season. Arriving from Pau FC in the summer of 2024, Sylla quickly established himself as one of the best forwards in the league. His effectiveness in front of goal and his team spirit make him a key component of Schalke's setup. Under contract until 2028, the Malian international intends to continue his development in Germany. And for now, the idea of answering calls from elsewhere is not part of his plans.
