One thing is certain: Egypt is not ready to move on after their elimination by Argentina (2-3) in the Round of 16 at this 2026 World Cup.

According to AS, the Egyptian Football Federation has officially filed a complaint against French referee François Letexier and his assistants. The Pharaohs' officials are demanding an investigation into several controversial decisions, including a denied penalty and a disallowed goal.

They are also calling for the French officiating team to be excluded from the rest of the tournament. FIFA has yet to respond to this request.
