On Sunday night, at the final whistle of the 2026 World Cup final, the behavior of several Argentine players shocked the world. FIFA may crack down.

Nahuel Molina punched Rodri, while Leandro Paredes targeted Eric Garcia and Gavi. Roberto Ayala, one of Scaloni's assistants, also tried to strike Dani Olmo.

According to Sky Sports, FIFA will open an investigation into the behavior of the Argentinians after the match. The global football governing body will review the footage, try to understand everything that happened, and, if deemed necessary, sanction one or more Argentine players.
