World Cup 2026 (Q): Badou Zaki announces the Mena of Niger squad

Like all African teams, Niger is gearing up for the upcoming World Cup 2026 qualifiers. This Thursday, March 13, 2025, coach Badou Zaki unveiled the Mena National squad list.

Badou Zaki has called up a group of 25 players for the March 2025 international break. Under the guidance of the Moroccan coach, Niger will host the Atlas Lions on March 21 at the Stade d'honneur in Oujda as part of the 5th round of the World Cup 2026 qualification. Later, the Mena will face the national team of Bonaire in a friendly match in Casablanca on March 25, 2025.

As a reminder, Niger was supposed to play against Eritrea in the 6th round of qualification, but the team withdrew from the qualifiers at the start.
