Kenya's national team coach, Benni McCarthy, unveiled the provisional squad for the Harambee Stars on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, ahead of the 5th and 6th rounds of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Gambia and Gabon.

Coach Benni McCarthy is preparing for his first outings with the Kenyan national team. The South African tactician will lead the Harambee Stars against Gambia and Gabon on March 20 and 23, 2025, respectively, in their quest for World Cup 2026 qualification.

A few weeks ahead of the international break, Benni McCarthy first released a preliminary list featuring key players Joseph Okumu and Michael Olunga.
