World Cup 2026 (Q): Emilio Nsue's wild dream for Equatorial Guinea
Highly anticipated during this international break with Equatorial Guinea, Emilio Nsue has revealed his ambitions for the Nzalang Nacional.
Emilio Nsue is among the players called up by Juan Micha to participate in the 5th and 6th rounds of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers with Equatorial Guinea. The 35-year-old forward, once sanctioned by FIFA, has finally received the green light from the world football governing body to once again don the colors of the Nzalang Nacional. Arriving at the gathering in Malabo, the striker has clearly expressed his dream of competing in the World Cup 2026 with the Equatoguinean team.
"We want the whole country to be able to live this experience. As always, I try to give my best, to help my teammates, and above all, as you know, I have a dream that I must fulfill. My only goal is to win the remaining matches in these World Cup qualifiers to have a chance to go there and give everything for the country," he stated.
Placed in Group H, Equatorial Guinea has just 3 points and is in 5th place in the standings. Juan Micha's men will face Sao Tome and Principe on March 21 in the 5th round of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers and then Namibia three days later in the 6th round.
