World Cup 2026 (Q): Senegal begins training this Monday

The international break kicks off this week. Gatherings are gradually taking place in various national teams. As for Senegal, preparations begin this Monday. According to the schedule set by the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), Pape Thiaw's squad will join the base camp located at the Radisson Hotel in Diamniadio this morning. A first training session will take place later at 5:30 PM on the auxiliary pitch of the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium.

On Tuesday at the same time, the Lions of Teranga will conduct their second training session at the same location. Wednesday and Thursday's sessions will be held behind closed doors, away from the eyes of the public and press. The Friday session will be open to the public and media for 15 minutes. Before that, a pre-match press conference will take place. It's worth noting that Senegal plays Sudan on March 22, followed by Togo three days later.
