In the round of 16 of the World Cup, Egypt will face Argentina on Thursday in a clash that promises to be particularly thrilling.

Two setbacks against Uruguay

Egypt has also been defeated in both of its encounters with Uruguay.

In 2006, La Celeste won a friendly 2-0, before clinching a 1-0 victory in the group stage of the 2018 World Cup.
