"Xabi stays": Barça mocks Real Madrid
Xabi Alonso

On Saturday night, during FC Barcelona's victory over Osasuna at Camp Nou, Barça fans naturally took the opportunity to mock their eternal rivals, Real Madrid.

Last night, as FC Barcelona rode a wave of euphoria and delivered a commanding 2-0 win over Osasuna, Raphinha's decisive goals weren't the only thing celebrated at Spotify Camp Nou. The spectacle extended into the stands, with Real Madrid becoming an unexpected guest at the party. Indeed, after the opening goal, part of the blaugrana faithful broke into an ironic and pointed chant: "Xabi, quédate" (Xabi, stay).

Amid the Barcelona celebrations, Camp Nou made it clear that Real Madrid's struggles remain a source of delight in Catalonia. The message was unmistakable: to highlight the ongoing crisis at the Merengue club and shine a spotlight on their manager's precarious situation.
