Yan Diomandé, the young talent Leganés wants to polish

At just 18 years old, Yan Diomandé is stepping into a new dimension. At Leganés, the Ivorian striker has quietly risen through the ranks. U19, reserves, then made his first appearance in La Liga against Real Madrid.

It seems Borja Jiménez isn't convinced by the winter signing of Duk, and the academy player Yan Diomandé, who impressed at the Bernabéu, emerges as the spark for CD Leganés in this final stretch.

His qualities have impressed the decision-makers at the Madrid club. According to AS, Leganés plans to permanently integrate him into the first team. The goal: to provide him with a real springboard. To accumulate minutes, progress in a competitive environment, gain maturity, and... value. The club hopes, in the medium term, to make a profit on a player they've seen grow.

This plan reveals a clear strategy: to focus on developing and promoting promising profiles from Africa. For Yan Diomandé, the time has come to prove himself. Silent, hard-working, explosive in the final meters, he embodies this ambitious generation dreaming of Europe. The path is still long. But the talent is very real. And Leganés seems determined to showcase it under the best conditions.
