Zambo Anguissa, a central figure in the Napoli midfield, halted his performance on Sunday, April 27 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium after taking a hit to the hip during the match.

Just after delivering an assist to Scott McTominay for the opening goal (final score 2-0), the Cameroonian had to make way for Philip Billing in the second half (58th minute).

After the match, Napoli merely confirmed that their 29-year-old midfielder was hit on the hip and forced to leave the field for this reason. The severity of this impact has not yet been indicated. Pending further medical examinations, Antonio Conte and the Napoli club hold their breath.

Since the start of the season, Zambo Anguissa has shown remarkable consistency, as usual. The Cameroonian, with his 33 appearances, including 29 starts, has already scored six goals and provided four assists. His versatility and influence on the offensive play are undeniable.
