National team coach Mame Moussa Cissé unveiled this Tuesday, June 24 in Dakar, the 24 players selected for the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, to be held in Morocco from July 5 to 26, 2025. The squad is a blend of local talent and overseas-based stars, aiming to capture Senegal's first continental crown.

On Tuesday morning, Senegal's women's national team raised the national flag at Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor as part of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, set to kick off in just eleven days. The ceremony also served as the occasion to announce the squad heading to Morocco for the tournament.

Head coach Mame Moussa Cissé has called up 24 Lionesses from the 26 players who recently took part in the pre-tournament training camp. The group features 13 players competing for foreign clubs and 11 from the domestic league, including seasoned veterans like Korka Fall, Aissatou Fall, Mareme Babou, and Mama Diop.
