The draw for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup was held in Qatar on Thursday. Cameroon, having officially qualified, now knows its opponents.

In their third appearance, the Cubs will compete in Group K against Mexico, a powerhouse with a storied history (16 appearances and two titles), along with Romania and Venezuela.

Cameroon secured their ticket after reaching the quarter-finals of the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, finishing second in Group B behind Côte d'Ivoire. The tournament will take place from November 19 to December 13, 2026.
