The race for the ultimate crown in the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is set to be fierce in this 14th edition.

After the men's AFCON, Morocco will host the women's tournament from March 17 to April 3.

Cameroon overview

The Indomitable Lionesses will compete in Africa's premier football tournament for the 13th time. Like Ghana, they have reached the final three times, finishing as runners-up in 2004, 2014, and 2016.
