Norway is already gearing up for its quarter-final clash at the 2026 World Cup against England. However, there is some concern about the squad's physical condition.

Head coach Stale Solbakken has revealed that several players are dealing with fatigue, coughs, and mild symptoms after the numerous trips they've had to make since the start of the tournament. Two players have been particularly affected in recent days, including Marcus Pedersen, who missed the round of 16 match against Brazil.

Despite these warning signs, the Norwegian staff does not believe that a virus is circulating within the team. Solbakken attributes these issues to repeated travel, air conditioning, and a buildup of physical and emotional fatigue.
