According to Jürgen Klopp, Alexander Sørloth missed a chance that could have changed the outcome of Norway’s quarterfinal loss to England (1-2 aet) on Saturday night.
With the Scandinavians still ahead, Alexander Sørloth chose to finish a two-on-one counterattack himself instead of passing to Erling Haaland.
"In that moment, Norway had to score. These are the moments that decide big matches. When two strikers play together, their instincts can sometimes cost the team dearly. Everyone wants to score, but in a two-on-one, it’s the team that needs to find the net. The match would have been completely different," explained the future Germany manager.
