Real Madrid: José Mourinho lists Yan Diomandé's shortcomings
Having scored two goals in his last two La Liga matches, Yan Diomandé is finding his feet at Real Madrid. However, the Ivorian is still far from convincing José Mourinho.
At Real Madrid, Yan Diomandé (19, 11 appearances and 2 goals in all competitions this season) is growing in stature. Yesterday, he made his mark with an assist and a goal against Sevilla (4-1) in La Liga. The Ivorian winger made a strong impression.
Mourinho wants more
Real Madrid coach José Mourinho said that the former Leipzig player still has a lot of progress to make. "I am very happy with Diomandé. But he has a lot of things to work on, and there are many aspects he needs to improve. He needs to work on his efficiency in front of goal. He gets into a lot of dangerous positions, but he must learn to relax more and make better decisions with the final touch," the Portuguese said at a press conference.

It must be said that Diomandé's current momentum contrasts with that of his rival Vinicius Junior, who is at rock bottom.
