French international Kylian Mbappé, a forward for Spanish club Real Madrid , has won the 2026 Onze d'Or, awarded by Onze Mondial magazine to the best player of the season based on supporters' votes.

Mbappé wins the race for the Onze d'Or with 48.2% of the votes

Mbappé comfortably won the race, finishing ahead of his rivals after receiving 48.2% of the votes. Portugal's João Neves, a Paris Saint-Germain player, came second with 11.9%, while Georgia's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia finished third with 10.8%.

Spain's Lamine Yamal, the FC Barcelona star, took fourth place with 9.7% of the votes, ahead of England's Harry Kane, Bayern Munich's striker, who received 4.4%.

Mbappé is winning this award for the first time in his career, succeeding compatriot Ousmane Dembélé, the winner of the previous edition.

This distinction adds to Mbappé's individual honours, placing him among the list of football legends who have already won the trophy, including Diego Maradona, Michel Platini, Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry, Karim Benzema and Lionel Messi.

The Merengues forward was crowned after a remarkable season in attacking terms. He finished the 2025-2026 season as the top scorer in the Spanish league and the Champions League, also won the 2026 World Cup Golden Boot and became the World Cup's all-time top scorer.
