Getafe: Sergio Ramos could reunite with Dani Carvajal

Another Real Madrid legend could join Getafe in the coming days. Sergio Ramos is being approached.

After signing Dani Carvajal as a free agent last week, Getafe are considering recruiting another former Real Madrid stalwart. This time, the name being mentioned is legendary centre-back Sergio Ramos.

The former Paris Saint-Germain player has been a free agent since his contract with Monterrey expired on December 31, 2025.

Getafe want Ramos

Getafe president Angel Torres confirmed in recent hours that he has been in contact with the 2010 world champion's entourage.

"His brother and agent spoke to me. We have six centre-backs, so it is not a priority position; the coach needs wingers. But it is not too late—he is on the list of potential signings," the club president said on Radio Nacional.

It must be said that Getafe are also considering recruiting Jadon Sancho.
