2026 World Cup: Ghana gets Thomas Partey and Iñaki Williams back

Ghana has welcomed the arrival of Thomas Partey and Iñaki Williams at their training camp in Cardiff. The two key squad members joined Saturday’s training session, bringing the roster up to 24 players.

With less than two weeks to go before their World Cup 2026 opener, Ghana continues to ramp up preparations. Thomas Partey and Iñaki Williams linked up with their teammates on Saturday morning in Cardiff, where the squad has been gathering for several days to fine-tune their game ahead of upcoming challenges.

The duo immediately took part in training at Dragon Park, strengthening a group that already included 22 players. The Black Stars are set to face Wales on June 2 at Cardiff City Stadium in their final warm-up match before heading off to North America.

Drawn into Group L for the World Cup, the Ghanaian side will kick off their campaign against Panama on June 17 in Toronto. They will then take on England and Croatia, aiming to secure a coveted spot in the knockout stage.
