After their 3-1 defeat to France in their opening match, Senegal must respond decisively against Norway. Just days before this crucial fixture, FIFA has officially announced the refereeing team.

Senegal is gearing up for a must-win clash against Norway on Matchday 2 of Group I at the 2026 World Cup. For this encounter at New York New Jersey Stadium, FIFA has appointed Brazilian referee Wilton Sampaio to take charge of proceedings. He will be assisted by compatriots Bruno Pires and Bruno Boschilia.
