Lionel Mpasi is finally set to experience Ligue 1 football. The 30-year-old goalkeeper has signed with Le Havre until June 2027.

- Lionel Mpasi began his career with Paris Saint-Germain before joining Toulouse in 2012.
- He only played for Toulouse's B team, and even though he was promoted to the first team in 2014, he never got his chance. TFC chose not to extend his contract, leaving him a free agent in 2015.

- He only managed to find a new club in 2016, bouncing back at Rodez after a year without playing.
- With Rodez, he enjoyed the best years of his career, playing 137 matches (conceding 154 goals and recording 38 clean sheets).
- A Congolese international with 16 caps, he is expected to serve as the number 2 goalkeeper at Le Havre, who have also signed Senegalese keeper Mory Diaw.
