Edouard Mendy was injured during Al-Ahli's league match against Al-Khaleej on Friday, March 7, 2025. He left his teammates in the 42nd minute and was substituted. Examinations revealed a muscle injury to the adductors. This Monday, March 10, Al-Ahli confirmed the absence of their starting goalkeeper for the AFC Champions League second leg against Al-Rayyan this Tuesday at King Abdullah Stadium.
