Alexandre Mendy to Montpellier, deal nearing completion

Alexandre Mendy is set to give his career a fresh boost. According to several reliable sources, the Guinea-Bissau international will join Montpellier in the coming days.

At 31 years old, Mendy is still under contract with Stade Malherbe Caen until June 2026. His market value is estimated at €1.5 million. With his top-flight experience and proven finishing skills, he represents a major addition for MHSC, who have just been relegated to Ligue 2.

Montpellier, determined to return to the top flight as soon as possible, is counting on the former Bordeaux and Guingamp striker to help reshape the squad. Mendy's signing could be made official in the very near future.
