Mohamed Salah became Liverpool’s most capped player in Champions League during the match against Qarabag at Anfield.

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah achieved major personal record on Wednesday during his club’s Champions League meeting with Qarabag at Anfield.

The Egyptian forward became the player with the most appearances for Liverpool in Champions League history reaching his 80th match in the competition for the Reds.

Salah’s landmark appearance equals the record previously held by former defender Jamie Carragher placing him among the club’s most enduring European figures.
