APR FC officially announces the signing of Raouf Memel Dao

It’s now official. Rwanda’s APR FC has secured the services of young Burkinabè attacking midfielder Raouf Memel Dao.

At just 21 years old, he arrives from AS Sonabel of Ouagadougou, where he enjoyed a remarkable 2024/25 season. Named the Best Player of the Burkinabè championship, Raouf Memel Dao was a key asset this season in Fasofoot Ligue 1. His consistency and creativity in midfield also earned him a call-up to the national team, where he made an appearance in a friendly against Tunisia.

Renowned for his vision, technical ability, and work rate, the young Burkinabè talent has signed a two-year deal with the Rwandan champions. Always looking to strengthen their squad in pursuit of local dominance and continental glory, APR FC makes a major statement with this promising acquisition.
