Araujo Transfer Alert: European Giants Eye €70M Bargain Clause

Spanish outlet Marca's revealed rare opportunity for europe's elite clubs to sign Ronald Araujo this summer without negotiating with Barcelona.

What’s the Catch?

Between 1 Jul and 10 July , the Uruguayan defender’s release clause will temporarily drop to 70 million euro giving interested clubs golden chance to activate the buyout.

After that Araujo's clause reverts to its standard 1 billion euro figure effectively closing the door on any deal.

Barcelona May Consider Selling

Although Araujo remains under contract until 2031 and recently cut short his vacation to rejoin pre season training,multiple reports suggest Barcelona could cash in if significant offer arrives.

His early return reflects commitment but financial pressures at the Catalan club could force decision they’d rather avoid.
