ASSE: Dylan Batubinsika Filed a Complaint Against His Attacker

Dylan Batubinsika has finally reacted following his assault that occurred on Saturday, March 1st, after the match against Nice. On March 5, 2025, the Congolese defender of Saint-Étienne filed a complaint against his attacker.

Dylan Batubinsika was attacked last weekend outside the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium following the defeat against Nice (1-3) in Ligue 1. As he was leaving the stadium by car, the 29-year-old player lowered his window for a supporter but was punched by an intoxicated individual who then fled. The supporter, whose identity has not yet been revealed, allegedly hurled insults before the assault.

A few days after the incident, Dylan Batubinsika filed a complaint against his attacker this Wednesday, March 5. The news was announced by the Stéphanois club. After strongly condemning this act in a public statement the day after the event, AS Saint-Étienne has informed that it will be a civil party in the judicial process.
