Bayer Leverkusen sets sights on Bilal El Khannouss
Bilal El Khannouss is on Bayer Leverkusen’s radar. The German club is considering signing the Moroccan midfielder from Leicester City to strengthen their midfield for the 2025/2026 season.
With Florian Wirtz recently joining Liverpool, Leverkusen is looking to rebuild its attacking force and inject fresh blood into the heart of its midfield. The Bundesliga runners-up have turned their attention to a profile they first scouted at Genk a year ago: Bilal El Khannouss, who was signed by Leicester City last summer.

The 21-year-old has impressed in the Premier League, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists in 32 appearances. Unfortunately, the Foxes were relegated to the Championship at the end of the season. Although his contract in England runs until 2028 and contains no release clause, Khannouss could be set for a new adventure next season.
Bayer Leverkusen is making inquiries and closely monitoring the situation of the young Atlas Lion, who is also attracting interest from other European clubs.
