Born in Accra, he finished at the top of the rankings for goalkeepers with the most saves from shots attempted inside the penalty area.

- He was trained at the Argentinos Juniors academy before joining FC Liefering in Austria in 2015, coming from Red Bull Ghana.

- In 2017, he signed with Red Bull Salzburg but did not play a single official match with the first team.
- That same year, he moved to France with Sochaux, where he played 33 matches, conceding 46 goals and keeping just 7 clean sheets.
- He joined Swiss club St. Gallen in 2020 and has played 216 games there, conceding 322 goals and recording 42 clean sheets.
- He has 26 caps for Ghana's "Black Stars," with his most recent appearance coming in 2024 against Sudan in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
