Hours after Brazil's elimination against Norway (1-2) in the round of 16 of this 2026 World Cup, Neymar announced he is ending his international career.

Following this major decision, the father of the Santos star wants to keep seeing him on the football pitch.

"My son, keep playing football. Rediscover the joy of having the ball at your feet. Find your smile again on the pitch. Today, you are healthy. God has given you another chance to do what has always been your passion. Enjoy the game. Don't let yourself be weighed down by decisions, criticism, expectations, or the ups and downs of life.
