Bryan Mbeumo, a complicated target for Manchester United?
Manchester United have been given a clear message: if they want to lure Bryan Mbeumo, they’ll have to put a lot more on the table than the £45 million (€52.6m) already offered, plus an additional £10 million (€11.7m) in bonuses.
Brentford have no intention of letting their Cameroonian striker go on the cheap. Mbeumo is under contract until 2026, with an option for an extra year. The London club knows they possess a highly sought-after asset. At 25 years old, Mbeumo has caught the eye of several Premier League sides, including Newcastle, but it’s Tottenham who seem especially keen.
The Bees have made their stance clear: United splashed over €74 million for Matheus Cunha—they can certainly match that for a player as decisive and experienced as Mbeumo. As for the player himself, he’s keeping all his options open.
