CAF Awards 2025: Clubs nominated for club of the year trophy

CAF officially announced this Wednesday the list of clubs nominated for the prestigious Club of the Year title, as part of the CAF Awards 2025.

While the date and venue of the CAF Awards 2025 are yet to be revealed, the African football governing body unveiled on Wednesday, October 22, the nominees for Club of the Year. Among the contenders is Renaissance Sportive de Berkane, winners of the 2024-2025 CAF Confederation Cup, who have rightly earned their spot in this elite category.

The list also features heavyweights such as Pyramids, African champions and CAF Super Cup winners, along with Mamelodi Sundowns and Simba—both narrowly missing out in the finals of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, respectively. CR Belouizdad, CS Constantine, ASEC Mimosas, Orlando Pirates, Stellenbosch, and Al Hilal SC also make the cut.
