Cameroonian Ballon d'Or 2025: the winners, category by category

The prestigious Cameroonian Ballon d'Or 2025 ceremony took place this weekend at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé, honoring the top football talents in the land of the Indomitable Lions.

After a year filled with excitement, awards were given to the most deserving in each category. The Foot Africa editorial team shines a spotlight on the winners:

Nchindo John Bosco succeeds Emmanuel Mahon

Winner in 2024, Emmanuel Mahon thus passes his throne to Nchindo John Bosco. The Yong Sports Academy forward claimed the top prize in this third edition thanks to his remarkable performances throughout the season.

The 23-year-old sharpshooter edged out Nathan Doualla (Victoria United) and Yvan Mvondo (Colombe du Dja et Lobo), strong contenders for the title.

Naomi Eto, rising star of women's football

In the women's category, Naomi Eto, who shone with Amazone FAP Yaoundé before joining En Avant Guingamp, was crowned.

At just 20 years old, she succeeds Gisèle Ngamanga, now playing for Galatasaray in Turkey.

Only one accolade for Victoria United

It is worth noting that despite their championship win, Victoria United walks away with only one trophy, the male revelation of the year, awarded to Jude Enow Enow.

The club, often a subject of controversy, was not recognized as the best male club, an honor that goes to Colombe Sportive du Dja et Lobo, who achieved a Cup-Supercup double in Cameroon.

Other awards of the evening

Regarding other awards of the evening, David Pagou (Stade Renard de Melong) was named male coach of the year, while Stéphane Ndzana Ngono (Lekie Football Filles) took the title among women. Jules Armand Kooh, for his part, walked away with two major prizes: the Golden Boot and goal of the year.
