The history between Algeria and Burkina Faso is one of the continent’s most captivating rivalries. Nineteen meetings, a perfectly balanced record: 6 wins for Algeria, 6 for Burkina Faso, and 7 draws. Neither nation has ever truly managed to dominate the other, and that’s exactly what gives their 20th clash, on December 28, 2025, such a unique sense of tension.
