Zambia and Comoros kicked off the second matchday in Group A, but neither side managed to break the deadlock. At the Mohammed V Stadium, tension overshadowed spectacle as the tactical battle ended in a goalless stalemate. Comoros will surely have regrets: they found the net in the first half, only for the goal to be disallowed after the referee's intervention. The winds could have shifted, but only served to stir up more doubts.

As for the Chipolopolo, this match reinforced a familiar trend: Zambia remain unbeaten, but still struggle to find the back of the net. This second consecutive point keeps Sichone's men within striking distance of qualification, but offers no real reassurance. The situation remains precarious.
