Paris Saint-Germain supporters experienced a memorable evening on Tuesday, March 11, after their team qualified for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals by eliminating Liverpool in England.

Ousmane Dembélé scored Paris's first goal in the 12th minute, and the two teams had to go into extra time after regulation ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of PSG, mirroring the result of the first leg, which saw Liverpool win.

PSG secured their spot in the next round with a 4-1 victory in the penalty shootout, with a brilliant performance by their Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who saved two penalties from Darwin Núñez and Curtis Jones.

Meanwhile, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the president of the Parisian club, made statements relayed by "Radio Monte-Carlo" after his team's qualification at Anfield. He stated: "Honestly, I can't find the words to describe my feelings after this exceptional match here at Anfield, against the best team in Europe and the Premier League leader."

He continued: "Our players delivered an incredible performance. We have young players, but they have strong personalities."

He added: "The mission is not over yet. Many people will say after this match that we are going to win the Champions League, but we are still far from that reality. However, that won't stop us from celebrating this magnificent evening for our players, our coach, and our supporters."

He concluded his remarks by stating: "We are still far from being the best team in Europe. We must remain humble. We are a young team and we are building something for the future. I've said it many times, even after a few defeats in the group stage. I've always said that we have the best coach in the world and exceptional players technically."

It should be noted that the French capital club will face the winner of the match between Aston Villa and Club Brugge, scheduled for this Wednesday, in the quarter-finals.
