CHAN 2024: Kenya announces its final 25-man squad

The technical staff of the Kenyan national team, led by South African coach Benni McCarthy, has unveiled the final list of 25 players called up for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

This edition of the tournament, reserved for players competing in their domestic leagues, will take place from August 2 to 30, 2025, and will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

Group A, which includes the host nation, will play its matches at the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani, Nairobi.

Kenya finds itself in a particularly tough group alongside the Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, Morocco, and Zambia.

The Harambee Stars will kick off the tournament against DR Congo on August 3, before facing Angola and Morocco. Their final group-stage match will be against Zambia.
