Chelsea: Yahya Idrissi signs his first professional contract (Official)

A new milestone achieved for Yahya Idrissi. The young Moroccan international signed his first professional contract with Chelsea this Friday, April 11, as revealed by the renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano.

At 17, the prodigy Yahya Idrissi has already donned the Moroccan jersey in youth categories from U15 to U18, amassing 8 caps and 2 goals.

Initially trained at West Ham, this versatile attacking midfielder, also capable of playing as a left winger or a false nine, joined the Blues' academy in January 2021.

Standing at 1.79m and possessing an excellent right foot, he impressed this season with the U18s, playing 20 matches (8 starts, 2 goals, 1 assist). His consistent progress earned him a contract that now ties him to Chelsea until 2028.

This signing reflects the confidence placed in him by the London club, where the Atlas Lion cub plays alongside another promising Moroccan talent, Ibrahim Rabbaj, currently showcasing his skills at the CAN U17 with the Moroccan team.
