Club World Cup 2025: Quarterfinal Picture Emerges with Seven Teams Through

Palmeiras've become the 1st team to book their spot in the quarterfinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World cup following decisive victory over Botafogo.

The Brazilian giants are leading the charge in what has proven to be thrilling and unpredictable edition of the tournament. With the new 32 team format, the Club World cup's finally living up to its promise more drama, more competition and wider path to glory.

How Does the Knockout Stage Work?

The top 2 teams from each group advance to the Round of 16 which kicks off the single elimination knockout phase. Every match must produce winner. If tied after 90 minute, extra time 2x15 minute is played followed by penalties if necessary.

The matchups are pre determined: the Group A winner faces the Group B runner up and so on across all 8 groups.
