Club World Cup 2025: Which teams have already reached the Round of 16?
Flamengo (Brazil), Bayern Munich (Germany), Juventus (Italy), and Manchester City (England) have officially secured their spot in the Round of 16 of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. These title contenders have made a flawless start to the tournament.
On the other hand, seven teams have already exited the competition after just two matchdays: Auckland City (New Zealand), Wydad Casablanca (Morocco), Al Ain (United Arab Emirates), Urawa Red Diamonds (Japan), Ulsan Hyundai (South Korea), Los Angeles FC (United States), and Pachuca (Mexico).
This edition, featuring 32 teams for the first time, allows the top two from each group to qualify for the knockout stage. So, everything is still up for grabs heading into the final matchday.
Africa still believes: Espérance, Al Ahly, and Sundowns keep their hopes alive!
On the African front, hope remains for three clubs: Al Ahly (Egypt), Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), and Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa). Their fate will be decided in a crucial third matchday.
In addition, FIFA has announced a special window for squad adjustments. From June 27 to July 5, qualified teams can add or replace up to five players ahead of the knockout rounds.
