CR Belouizdad and Zamalek meet again in the semi-finals of the Confederation Cup with one goal in mind: to secure a spot in the final of the competition.

The Algerians booked their place in the last four by eliminating Al-Masry thanks to the away goals rule. After a 1-1 draw in Egypt on March 14, they settled for another draw (0-0) at home a week later. That was enough to see them through.

On the other side, the White Knights defeated Otoho d’Oyo 2-1 after drawing in Congo in the first leg, booking their own ticket to the semi-finals.

The Cairo club is out for revenge against their opponents, having lost to them twice in the group stage of the 2023 Champions League—0-1 in Egypt and 2-0 in Algeria. Those are the only previous meetings between these two sides.
