Dortmund hesitates over Sébastien Haller

Sébastien Haller is back at Dortmund, but for how long?

After a loan spell at FC Utrecht, the Ivorian striker returns to Borussia with his future still up in the air. According to BILD, the club is weighing two options. The first: letting him go to reduce the wage bill. Haller earns €10 million a year—far too much for a backup. The issue? No club has yet shown interest in signing him.

The second option is to keep him as a backup for Serhou Guirassy, BVB's new attacking weapon. At 31, the former Ajax striker is still under contract until 2026. But Dortmund is waiting for a sign. And Haller, for now, remains in limbo.
